On December 9, I went to a restaurant named ‘Bebbis’ to have a dinner with my friend--Winona. The restaurant is on the negative first floor of Eastern Shopping Center. I arrived there at 6 o’clock. The food in ‘Bebbis’ are from Switzerland, we didn’t eat the Swiss food, so we decided to go the restaurant.
In that restaurant, I ordered a dish of Swiss rice, a cup of coffee, a cup of ice cream and some bread. I thought the coffee was just so so, it was almost the same as the common coffee; however, the bread was quite special! The worker cut the big bread into many small pieces, he put them in a nice basket, and then the worker gave you two different kinds of Swiss cheeses, one kind was black, the other kind was light yellow, then burned the cheeses to keep the cheeses warm, then you could rub any cheese into the bread with your fork, the cheeses made the bread tasty, I couldn’t say clearly the taste of the bread, but I was sure the taste was quite special! The Swiss rice was delicious, too, there were many other vegetables, when join them together, the rice would be different. The ice cream was beautiful, there were four different colors, and there were some fruits in it, too! The taste was nice. I liked the food I ordered, because they were delicious and they let me know the Swiss taste.
The environment of the restaurant was good, there were many Swiss pictures hanging on the walls, the desks and tables were made in Switzerland, the workers played Swiss music, the floor was clean. The restaurant was full of Swiss feeling, so the atmosphere was suitable. The workers were very polite, they always smile, and they were patient and were willing to help others, so I thought the service was great.
When I was eating in there, I also met my classmates—Nelly, Candy and Bruce, etc. They were eating with Grade 12 students, I was glad to meet them. They all thought the restaurant was good. So I would recommend other people to eat there.
